A Friday Flower

It's Friday... at last!!! I end the week a little frazzled... my little girl's illness is spreading amongst the rest of the troops... A sick house equals a fraught mother...I'm sat here with a glass of wine in hand, in a vain attempt to take the edge off things...

I picked up my Friday Flower today, in an attempt to spread a little cheer over an otherwise grim day...

I did smile when I saw the delicateness of the petals, touched with pink... and, even though it's another carnation... I just couldn't resist... It also came with the added bonus of filling two jars... can this bloom do no wrong?

I dedicate this Friday Flower to my mother-in-law... yep... you read that right... she bucks all the stereotypical mother-in-law characteristics... she's kind, considerate, never judging, always listening, and most of all, always there for me... Thanks, Shell, for being you!

I'm linking up with the lovely Melissa, who always manages to wow me with her fantastic photos and wise words... pop over to see her to be wowed too...
Wishing you all an amazing weekend and I'll hopefully be back on track next week.
